After listening to this soundtrack, I went into a dark corner and wept, because it was only at that point I realized how cruel the world can be, permitting this soundtrack to be released.
I can’t imagine why anyone thought hiring a generic rock star from the early 90’s would lend any sort of magic to the film, but it seems that Bryan Adams was hired against all odds to put out the most wretched of soundtracks ever conceived. Mr. Adams manages to make a mockery of the animated soundtrack industry by coming up with the worst possible rhymes and lyrics. It was as though he mugged an eleven year old girl and stole her collection of poetry, then proceeding to put it into a computer and let it spit out a “melody” using only the highest-quality synthesizer tones and beats.
I’d like to send my regards to Hans Zimmer for having to allow his solid orchestral pieces to be sandwiched into this nightmarish collection of “songs.” Avoid this soundtrack at all costs, unless you enjoy contrived, plastic music.

Would have much preferred just the music. Bryan Adams should have left the gravel voice to Rod McKewin. No doubt the lyrics aided in the telling of the movie but they just do not stand alone. Don’t waste your money on this one if it is only attractive because of Hans Zimmer reputation
